Isaac, now a Cat 1 hurricane, is making landfall in Louisiana. The pressure is at 968mb and packing sustained winds of 80 mph. Wind gusts are much higher. Isaac isn’t moving very fast: movement is to the NW at 8 mph. He’s dumping up to 1” of rain per hour.
