Winter weather returning to Oklahoma

The weather has been pretty uneventful the past several days – unseasonable temperatures mixed with a little rain.  It’s been more like early spring.  I guess we should enjoy it for the next couple of days, a winter storm is heading our way on Thursday.  Temperatures will return to a more seasonable level and the chance for accumulating ice and snow is in the forecast.  In fact, if the models are correct it looks like we could get near 4″ of wintry precip on Thursday and early Friday.

So, if you’ve traded your heavy winter coats for sweaters and lite jackets, you may want to re-think that move.  We’re still in January and winter weather is still with us.

I’ll keep you posted as we get closer.
