Weather Outlook for Jan 3-7

The weather event we were prepared for here in Tulsa was pretty much a bust.  We only received a dusting of snow.  However, the counties north and east of us recorded up to 3″ of the white stuff.  There’s still flurries in the area, but further accumulation isn’t expected.

And the snow and ice already on the ground isn’t going anywhere this week.   Temperatures will stay at or below freezing all week, falling to a dangerous 1 degree Thursday night.  Wind chills will be in the negative numbers.  Snow is expected to return on Wednesday and Thursday, with accumulations of 2″ or more.
