There is a chance we’ll see a white Christmas in Tulsa

You know how these things go.  The weather forecast for Oklahoma can and does change at the drop of hat.  But, it looks like there’s a good chance we’ll see a white Christmas in northeastern Oklahoma.  How much snowfall we’ll see is still up in the air, but the National Weather Service office in Tulsa is forecasting about 1-1/2″ here in Tulsa and higher amounts to the southeast.

Of course, any amount of accumulation could make Christmas Day travel hazardous, so make sure you check the road conditions before you head out.  Wind Chill values will also be a concern.  Put a winter survival kit in your vehicle and monitor local media outlets and the National Weather Service for the latest forecast.
