Chance of severe weather on Wednesday and Thursday

There’s a good chance we’ll see some severe weather in Oklahoma over the next couple of days.  Tomorrow there’s a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail being the greatest risks.  The most severe storms will develop ahead of the dryline that’s expected to be near I-35.  Tornadoes are a possibility as the day on Wednesday progresses.  Thursday is less impressive at this point, but there’s still a good chance of some strong to severe storms.

Storms are expected to develop ahead of the dryline

We’ve decided to chase tomorrow afternoon, with the area just east of OKC being the likely target area.

The risk areas for Wednesday as of 5/18 at 10:45pm

Stay tuned!
