Winter may visit us mid week

It’s been relatively mild the past few days, but that will be changing later in the week.  A front will be moving through, brining cooler temperatures and a chance of precipitation on Wednesday.  In fact, there’s even mention of snow.

Here’s what the NWS is forecasting right now.

Tonight: Patchy fog after midnight.  Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 34. North wind 5 to 10 mph.

Monday: Patchy fog before 9am.  Otherwise, mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 57. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. South wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 62. South wind 5 to 15 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.  Partly sunny, with a high near 62. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday Night: A chance of rain before 3am, then a chance of snow. Some thunder is also possible.  Cloudy, with a low around 32. Breezy.  Chance of precipitation is 40%.
