If you’re planning on getting out this spring to chase a storm or two, the first thing you need to do is get some instruction on how to stay safe and how to properly report what you’re seeing.  Even if you’ve been to one of these classes before, a refresher is a good idea.

The NWS has a web page for the 2012 training schedule.  There’s a few dates already listed and more will be added over the next couple of months.

Here’s the link to the training schedule.  Bookmark it.  http://www.srh.noaa.gov/tsa/?n=spotter_training.
