As is much of the nation, Oklahoma is relatively quiet this morning – with exception to the rain and storms in the far SW corner of the state, moving to the NE. Enjoy the weather today. There’ll be plenty of sunshine and temps near 50°. We’ll have warmer temps over the next couple of days, but it won’t last long.
Monday night through Wednesday will bring showers and maybe some thunderstorms to the Tulsa area. The greatest chance of precip is on Wednesday when we could see about 1/4″ of rain.
By weeks end, the warmer temps will be fading away. There’s another round of rain expected and if the thermometer dips as expected, we could see some freezing rain on Friday and Saturday. If we do get the freezing stuff, it won’t amount to much, but remember: it doesn’t take much to create hazardous road conditions. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on if you’re planning on being out.
