We have some thunderstorms moving into the Tulsa area tonight and there’s a slight chance of rain tomorrow, but the week ahead should be relatively dry with more August-like weather.
High temps over the weekend should be in the low 90s with overnight lows near 70°, but temps next week are expected to climb to near 100° during the day and drop into the mid 70s during the overnight hours. It is possible that we’ll see some heat index values well over 100°.
Like most of you, I’ve enjoyed the cooler temperatures this week and wish they’d hang in there for a little longer. But, this is August in Oklahoma. It’s supposed to be hot this time of year.
