There’s little chance for relief from the heat over the next few days, it’s going to be hot through at least the weekend. Our major focus will be on Saturday, when heat index values will be between 102 and 107 degrees. If you have plans for the weekend, make sure you drink plenty of fluids and avoid the heat of the day.
There’s a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms beginning Sunday night and chances could last for a few days. We’ll have to play that one by ear as we get closer.
