Outlook for December 20-23, Snow on Christmas Eve Possible

The first day of winter on Monday will bring us mild and dry weather for the next couple of days.  Tonight the low is expected to be around 30 deg and tomorrow temps will climb to near 60.  Rain chances will increase on Tuesday and there’s a good chance of rain on Wednesday, including a thunderstorm or two.

Although I’m not ready to call for a white Christmas in Tulsa, I’m seeing the chance for snow on Thursday increasing.  The NWS is calling for snow in their latest Hazardous Weather Outlook.  Much cooler air is expected to cover the area, bringing chances of accumulating snow.  Maybe as much as a couple of inches.   Rest assured, I’ll be watching it.
